1973 Ford Mustang
Mileage: 2,000 miles
Condition: Used

Features:
Body type: Coupe Engine: 8 - Cyl. Cylinder Exterior color: White
Transmission: Automatic Fuel type: Gasoline Interior color: Black

Totally restored 1973 Mustang with less than 2000 miles put on since restoration in 2006.

Has a rebuilt 289 engine, mild hydraulic cam, Eldebrock Performer intake, 600 Holley 4V with electronic choke, Hooker headers.

Transmission is a rebuilt C-4 with B&M shift kit. Car has factory 3.00 Positive traction rear end.

Basically the owner saved this car from the scrapyard. He replaced all of the following parts with new replacements: Front Fenders, Rear Quarter Panels, drivers door, Taillight panel, Gas Tank, Shocks, New Brakes, new front end steering parts and wheel alignment. He also added some custom touches with a new MACH 1 grille and MACH 1 lower rear valance to allow clearence for the dual exhaust tips.

Inside there are new door panels, carpet, headliner, front seats, center console and custom installed AM/FM CD player.

The outside is finished in a 2 part basecoat white pearl, red racing strips, and a clearcoat top. American Racing Polished Aluminum wheels and new tires finished off the look. Also some custom vinyl graphics along the lower sides. The underbody is undercoated to prevent any rust.

The car isn't totally perfect. Among the known flaws are the new A/C lines need to be installed and the air conditioning charged with 134. Also there is a ground problem with the dash lights that make them appear dim. The light switch has been replaced and they can't seem to find the problem. As the owner put, "This could be someone's very nice daily driver or weekend driver." Estimated that he has over $10,000 in the car.

1973 Ford Mustang ram air convertible

Title: 1973 Ford Mustang Ram Air-Convertible 4 SPEED

Mileage: 100,000 miles

Location: Nashville

This Mustang is completely restored excluding the engine, the power-train would be as if it left the factory, just a little dirtier. It shifts and drives very well. It has the original 351 cleveland engine with 2 barrel carb. The mustangs convertible top is brand new and all the hydraulics are rebuilt and sound. It has the original floor pans and sheet metal, it has a very nice audio system consisting of mp3 head unit with remote control and boston coustic speakers, it has a new clutch, complete new breaks and suspension including new shocks and springs and all bushings and rear adjustable air shocks. It has all new weather stripping, bolts, and fantastic paint and stenciling. The tires are brand new and just installed. It has the original rims including the 5th rim that matches the originals that goes in the trunk. Many of the parts were painted off the car, so fenders, hood, and doors, and misc other parts shine just like the outside on the inside. The stenciling are not stickers, but rather painted and clear coated just like at the factory(but better). It has complete new upholstery on the seats, doors and dash and new carpet installed with sound deadener. This Mustang is ready to go.The engine has had a full tune up including plugs, wires, cap and has only had mobile 1 full synthetic oil since my ownership. I was planning on changing the top end of the engine to a cobrajet, but didn't. So, the car will come with complete numbers matching parts for that changeover including cobra jet heads, intake, carb, and exhaust manifolds for some serious power....
I have restored this car with no expense spared so that total enjoyement can be had.
It has never sat out in the weather which is a huge plus for older mustangs.

1973 Ford Mustang Convertible

This Mustang convertible has every feature put on the Mach 1 for 1973 including deluxe gauges, rear spoiler, hood scoops, hood locks, stripe, rim blow steering wheel and center console. I added fuel a fuel injected newer V8 5.0. High Output motor for better power and better mileage. Also I changed the radio for a newer larger Ford one with a CD and lots of buttons. All the parts that usually show wear in older cars have been changed like the window seals, the door and trunk seals, rear light seals, etc. I also replaced the grill in the front, the instruments, the radiator and air conditioning coil and major parts. I completely replaced the suspension, brakes and got fancy tires which have almost no wear. I changed the door panels, the carpets, the top and the soft dash board cover thing and the upholstery. Tons of other stuff is new too, but I can't remember it all. It is a California and Arizona car. Probably never driven over salted Northern roads. It has a couple problems: 1. The tachometer is not accurate. 2. There is a small tear in the new driver's seat. I'm 65 now and like taking it places but my wife won't go in it. She likes her new car, so I just drive it to work a couple times a month. (I drive through the mountains both ways and have a great time. It is responsive and fun to drive. Everyone looks!
