1980 Mustang Cobra 302 5.0 Capri

A 1980 Mustang Cobra, 82,708 actual miles.
It has a freshly built 302 bored .60 over with approx 3k miles, flat top pistons, 351 windsor heads, mild cam, Performer 289 intake, 600 CFM Holley carb, ARP Fasteners throughout engine and accesories, Double roller timing chain, High volume oil pump, cast iron high flow water pump, carter fuel pump, Ford Motorsports oil dipstick and chrome tube, new solenoid, 1-5/8 shorty headers with header wrap, 2-1/2 exhaust headers back to 2 Flowmaster 40 series that dump at the rear end, MSD Blaster coil. jazz coolant recovery tank. C4 transmission freshly rebuilt with B&M strip Shift kit. B&M shifter. The rear end in the car is a Ford 9". Im not sure what gear it has and it's not a posi rear end. The springs have air bags in them that you can adjust the air pressure for drag racing. Full Length sub frame connectors. Theres also a 12 gallon fuel cell with 3/8 aluminum fuel line ran to the engine bay, battery relocation kit to the passenger side hatch area with a deep cycle marine battery. New door pins. New driver and passenger side door locks. There is a cd player thats in the dash. its not hooked up but it does have all the wires marked where to go. The driver and passenger seats are from a 1991 mustang gt. The drivers and passenger seat still has the wires for it to be hooked up for power you just need to run the wires. The back seat is still the old recaro style black and white stripe. The carpet in the hatch area is not pictured but is installed now. The car color is a special mix blue with pearl and metalic. I have the paint code I will supply to the buyer. The spoiler, ground effects, and hood cowling are metalic silver. All the window trim is black. The paintjob on this car is awesome. All of the paint supplies and material cost $2000.00, thats with out paying someone to paint it. My uncle whose been an experienced painter for over 20 years did all the paint work. The original speedometer and tachometer work in the gauge cluster, the rest of the gauges are not hooked up. There is a seperate temperature gauge. The heater core is not installed but will be included. I also have a new CSR fuel block off plate, extra header wrap, new carb gasket, front lebra cover that will be included. The side skirts and rear valance have the logo "COBRA GT" cut out. Those cut-outs have lights behind them that will light up they just need to be wired up. The rims are 14" chrome rims, 4 lug in the front, 5 lug in the rear. The tires are all good with no dry-rot. The brake booster was installed right before I had bought the car. I will also include Brand new CSR fuel block off plate, carb spacer, carb gasket, extra header wrap, extra light bulbs, Brand new fuel cooling cannister.

The Bad: The windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced, steering rack boots are rotted($20 to replace), Drivers side taillight has a quarter size hole, the other just has a small crack on the edge, The rear end seals on the drivers side leak on the brake drum and pads.
Ive had this car since May of 2006 and drove it for a couple months then tore it down to repaint it. The body was stripped down to bare metal. The body had absolutley no rust rot or rust whatsoever except fot the drivers side floor in the front by the pedals, under the rear seat, all wich have been patched and sealed. In that time I went through the motor and transmission.
